At Port Clements we encountered Dale (owner of the restaurant) who agreed to take us on a forest tour and relate the history of the Golden Spruce. Informative tour - both botanically and politically. Dale had been asked to collect a pound of golden sap to heal a young girl with scald burns Travel day from Daajing Giids to Masset with multiple stops - Take photos of the Haida Gwaii Museum from the road - Balancing Rock / Tidal Flats - See the totem carving done by Chloe - St Mary's Spring - Tlell Stone Circle - Crystal Cabin - Lunch at Port Clements - Informative forest tour about the Golden Spruce - Arrive in Masset |
