Salamanca - Old University Town - Writing with Blood

Salamanca - May 15 In Vega de Terron for our bus trip to the old University town of Salamanca - established 800 years ago. Bus ride was about 2 hours with a rest stop about half way. Just past the rest stop we started to see storks nesting and feeding in the fields. At the end of finals students celebrated with bullfights - the lettering is made from bulls' blood. The symbol is actually a mixture of the letters that make up the word “VICTOR.” |
