| Mediterranean Cruise - Ephesus - 5 September 2012
Scenes at Izmir and on the trip to/from Ephesus. At the port there were a lot of feral cats that were being cared for by a cat "pied piper". He would whistle and they would come running from all directions. We were surprised by how large and developed the city of Izmir appeared. THere were tall apartment buildings on the hillsides, many with Turkish flags draped on them. Just prior to departure there was a fly-past of jets - much like the Sow-Bird group here in Canada. |
