Day 28 - Bay of Islands
Kororipo - Kerikeri Basin Heritage Area. The Stone House
Stone and Kemp Houses are among the first buildings in New Zealand
The tour was Maori Cultural Highlights. We went to the region around Kerikeri. The countryside was lush and green and spring was breaking out all over. We viewed some early mission buildings, went to the Puketi Kouri Forest, then to a Maori Marae for a traditional welcome.
