Day 20 - On the Beach at Dravuni Island
Waves breaking on the Great Astrolabe Reef.Contrast enhanced to show the waves and the band of shallow water part way to the reef.
After Suva we had long cruise of 48 nautical miles to Dravuni Island. We tendered from the Volendam to shore where there was a fantastic beach. There are about 150 inhabitants of the island so the passengers from the boat increased the population by a factor of four or so.
