Day 9 - First Tour Day - Nawiliwili & Fern Grotto
Large, flat-bottom boats are used to bring visitors upriver to the lush, natural cathedral known as the Fern Grotto is a fern-laced natural amphitheater cave accessible only by boat. Tour boats (see below) depart from the Wailua marina on the south bank of the Wailua River near Kūhiō Highway (Hwy. 56).
