Saillon & La Colline Ardente
Situated above the village on the Colline Ardent, the smallest vineyard in the world has only three vines (this is NOT one of them). Pilgrims have placed there stones which come from the Great Wall of China, the pyramids of Egypt, the Berlin Wall, and also from many other less prestigious places.
Each year someone, well-known in sports, the arts or politics comes to harvest the grapes: among the personalities have been Zinedine Zidane, David Douillet, Caroline of Monaco,, Roger Moore, ...
