Budapest Pre-tour - Sightseeing on our own the evening of our arrival
We spent three days in Budapest prior to the start of the cruise. We stayed at the Hilton Buda hotel in the heart of historic old Buda. We arrived without our luggage which did not come until 24 hours later.
ARANY SAS PHARMACY MUSEUM
This special museum opened its gates in 1974 in the building 18 Tárnok street. The exhibition introduces the development of the pharmaceutical science through written, pictorial and article mementoes, proving that the history of pharmacies is not only a scientific matter but also an important part of the history of the Applied Arts. Interiors and objects of pharmacies, the beautifully crafted ceramic, wooden and glass dishes, mortars and scales have a justified place in Hungarian art heritage.
