Mormon Lake... now that is a misnomer if ever we saw one.

The lake is DRY, except for early spring. At one time there was more water, but now it is a prairie at the end of the summer season.

Mormon Lake Lodge, Restaurant and store
This building was erected in 1974 when the original lodge burned down.
