After driving from Reedsport, sadly using one of the nicest days of the trip for travel, we got to Portland and were treated to a wonderful late afternoon view of Mt. Hood.
This was a real treat after our foggy trip to Mt. St. Helens. The isolated volcanic peaks are quite spectacular. These shots were from our (G & C) motel room window just at sunset.
