A beautiful evening and we jumped at the suggestion of the girl at the Valu0Inn counter to go look at the sunset. We made it to the shore just in time.
Our first multi-day stop was at Newport on the Oregon coast. There were great beaches to walk and the town was charming. In the past it had been one of the first beaches accessible by car in the area and was quite popular.
