Rare Albino Robin
Photo Date
Thu, 26 Aug 2004 12:47:30 PM
An Unexpected event. A rare albino robin ( < 1/30000 probability) appeared this day in our back yard. It appears to be a pure albino. Unlike the other robins with it that day, it did not use the birdbath and seemed to stay somewhat isolated from the others. It also seemed clumsy when landing on branches or the fence, like its eyesight was not quite normal.
