Caves and Reconstructed Dwellings
Photo Date Bandelier National Park, Los Alamos, New Mexico Bandelier Park is the site of extensive Anasazi dwellings. We had an interesting tour guide - a retired high school biology teacher. He found it highly amusing to be paid to tell people about things he loved so much. The sites for the old brick dwellings are located where there are caves in the cliff walls. Circular holes in the cliff face are where support logs were used. There are many pictographs on the cliff walls and painting on the cave walls.
