Panama Canal Cruise - Roatan, Honduras 22 Apr 2008

Roatan was the first stop on the cruise. The port was small and could clearly only handle one ship at a time. We were the last cruise of the season. The people were warm and friendly and the tour guide related much interesting information about the things they ate.

We stopped at a complex near Punta Gorda where we saw a demonstration of local dances and costumes. We also got to sample a type of tapioca bisquit which was shredded, strained and cooked in front of us.
